Jeffrey P. Silverstone My Monogram

I am currently working on a website for the FAA to sell navigational charts.

Until June 2002, I was working with the National Guard on their recruiting website. Before that, I converted the history of the misdeeds of the stockbrokers of America from one computer system to another. I also manage a church web page.

Outside of computer related activities, Margreta and I enjoy English and Contra dancing at Glen Echo Park in the Washington DC-Baltimore area. I am a member of the EFDSS, the CDSS and the FSGW. My favorite summer vacation is a week at the Sidmouth International Folk Festival though in 2001 we visited Italy. See photos from our Trip. I enjoy folk song, though my wife is the singer in the family. I am Uncle Sam in Takoma Park's independence day parade.

Like many in the DC area, I am addicted to news, though I flip to Dilbert first. I subscribe eWeek. I am a member of three NPR  radio stations (WAMU, WETA and WKSU ), mostly for their news and folk music shows and Car Talk.

I like to try new restaurants, though I have a bias towards the spicy and exotic near Takoma Park. Here are some of my favorites.
